tell your contractors to not speak with tenants other than "hello. happy new year!! Sorry we can't chat but we're on a tight schedule".

who cares if tenant complains about "peace of mind and privacy" when you know it's not a real issue.

Property needs service maintenance and tenant cannot complaint. Maybe what should be done is let tenant knows service maintenance is needed otherwise she will be doing for them. Other option , have a fence if you can afford it.It will raise your property value.
