How are they keeping you awake if they are just stepping out to smoke? How much/what kind of noise are they making)

They live on second floor and have to use the stairs down and 3 doors on the way,then go back, then go out and in again and again , all close to my bedroom,

The problem is that it is two family house thay live on second floor we are on the first and the stairs are inside of the house between my bedroom and living room, all the noice from stairs we hear stomping and the doors slams , for a day t is ok but when it is going on and on all night , every night it is wake me up all the time they go out or in .
