Advertisements / Rental Application - Landlord Forum thread 356207

Advertisements / Rental Application by Jason (PA) on February 18, 2018 @00:10

I currently advertise my rentals on CraigsList and Facebook Marketplace. Is there a free website that I would also use so that people can be able to download the rental application digitally?
I currently email it to them, but I'm trying to streamline the process.

Yes, there a lot of free websites where you can develop your own website for your rentals. It is easy to include a pull-able rental app as well as have your rental criteria, detailed floor plans, showing procedures, pictures, etc. Mine also has a pre-screening form that they fill out and email to me so I do all my screening by email. Works for me. I only accept qualified prospective tenants with a 675 FICO score or better.

I do not like to give out my application unless it is someone who has viewed the property and expresses a desire to rent.
That is usually when we show the rental.

I see no reason to make my rental application available to just any un-pre-screened party who finds it on my management site.

If we don't have enough apps at the rental during showing, we can always email to a pre-screened prospect.
