Pergo (and the knock offs...which are just as good these days) are wood products...they will warp if it gets wet. So, no...not in kitchen.

I put tile in kitchen and bath.

Am now looking at LVP since I can put throughout first floor including kitchen and bathroom. Did you consider this before going to laminate?
