That would be a worse case scenario for sure but there is a very high probability they are leaving since his job is moving.

Then your story does not make sense. You said they wanted to give you 15 days notice back in March, but you refused to accept it. If they had a job waiting for them back then, they would have had to move then, by the end of 15 days, no matter what you said about the rent. That "job" they have, is not going to wait for them to give you a 60 day notice. You said they have stopped communicating with you. Did they give you ANY notice, in WRITING, at ANY time, that they will be out by May 31? If not, you're in a world of hurt right now----no rent for March, April, and probably none for May. And only their "word" they will be gone by May 31. Remember that lease they signed way-back-when ? They signed their names agreeing to pay rent. How good is their "word" NOW ?
