I have a two roommate tenants and their lease ends July 31. One of them has asked what her options are, since she may be relocated by her job but won't know until end of July or August at the earliest. She is hesitant to sign another year lease because of this. How have other handled this situation? Switch to month to month? What then if she is relocated and the roommate can't handle the rent on their own? Thanks.

Why would you, how would you, have a tenant that could not handle the rent on their own? They should have been qualified before lease signing, eh?
