Honestly, I just play musical keys. Every turnover, I swap keys between houses. So one year house A will have the original key from house B and so on so forth. I have enough keys on my keychain, I don't need to keep adding to them.

I do that same thing, but I do it with a whole lock set (2 DBs and 2 handles). What fouls me up sometimes, is when a T actually breaks a handle to the point I could never use it. Then I have to buy a whole new set (because I like my Ts to need only 1 key to get in either front or back door). I have 20 SFHs, scattered all over the city. So nobody knows where an old lock has been, or where its going.
