Every one of our units has a doorknob and deadbolt. We stopped using locking knobs due to too many lock outs. No way to lock yourself out with just a deadbolt. Haven't had a single comment or complaint about it.

We also use the same set up on every door. We keep an extra 5 deadbolts ready to go. All we do is swap an old one out and replace it. The old one goes to the end of the circulation line to be used again at a later date. No re-keying is necessary.
