You should absolutely save the bees literally they are endangered.

Wasps can be caught with a $5.00 trap. Also if it is a wasps and you live in a cold climate you can destroy their colony if you catch the queen. They all die but the queen during winter. She probably layed eggs before you catch her but the next one is half the size. It might take a season but these you can get rid of easy and cheap. Proactive traps next year for these before spring.

You need to find the source if it is hornets probably trash, dead wood, hay, piles of leaves and dumped lawn clippings ect. will bring them to your home.
