Darryl, write the landlord (certified) and let her know that your ex is abusive and you fear for your safety. This will leave a traceable paper trail that the landlord cant ignore. Then change locks.

Too bad that won't CH(his)A if push comes to shove. Anyone can say anything in a "letter" but without police reports it will mean nothing.

Good point. Darryl, along with the certified letter, call the police as well. If you file a report, they aren't likely to even contact your ex since she doesn't live there anymore. That way you'll have a documented concern for having to change the locks
