Thanks for your replied and my husband and I totally agree. Why do they think we should be responsible for the dogs own by our tenants, or that we need to get involve each time there is a dispute between them or that we had to build her a new fence at such a high cost when their own old fence isn't worth 100 bucks. A child could kick it hard and knock down a few of those boards.

Before we follow your advice we would love to see if someone else has a different point of view. We would love to write them a strong email so they are aware that none of this is our responsibility and to stop pestering us. We tried to accommodated them, but now they want to take advantage of our generosity.

Email will invite them to speak off of knee-jerk emotion and they will in turn expect an immediate reply. You've facilitated them long enough. No more email. Period.

Send them a letter snail mail. Block their email. You aren't your tenants' parents.
