When they overstayed the lease, did you post pay or quit and then file for eviction.

If so, just get the judgement. Then send to a collection agency then that way it gets on the credit report.

If you did not post pay or quit and then file, you have little recourse.

Thank you. We had a warrant after they breached the stipulation. Not sure if it can be brought into housing court for a judgment. Was told I have to sue. I just wanted to know if it could be reported to a credit agency as unpaid rent. Tenant used up the security deposit and is being sued for property damage.

No collection agency will take such a debt unless the landlord pays the collection agency to chase the ex-tenant. They all know it is a waste of time and money to chase deadbeat tenants.
