Court fees

Does a tenant have to pay court cost if they pay the rent before the court date? My tenant said he does not have to pay court cost. I think he does. I already paid them at the time of filing.

The judge will tell you. Follow through with the court date. But yes he does. Make the judge tell him

In my opinion if you accepted rent from the tenant. You accepted to drop the court case. Once I start and eviction I do not accept any rent. It goes to court and I expect the Tenant to be evicted as I would be requesting in my filing.
