Many interested tenants inquiries by single mother's with 3 children very little income with poor credit. All potential tenants credit scores below 500 with no rental history. Our inventory is high had to turn some of our units to AirBNB with good success, However, rental inventory are high rents has been reduced applicants do not meet the minimum criteria here in Jacksonville, NC . A military town with a large newly built ed homes. Any positive suggestion will be helpful.

Military town.......good resource for tenants on active duty as assigned there. Good housing for service people is a win win. If your units are nice and at market rents, the off base housing office should help you. Military are good tenants, as they are held to a higher standard and generally understand the authority process, respect and following dirrections

As you may know, rent is market driven. Look at comps in your area market accordingly. You may have to adjust rent. However lowering your qualifying criteria should be your very last resort.
