Can child support be considered income by John on August 23, 2018 @11:16

So I have a single mother who's income just meets the req. However, she indicates she receives about $2,400 a month additional in CP. The issue is from a legal standpoint I don't know if I can dive into her CP and if I could how would I verify it. Also, do you guys even consider this.

We include child support, alimony, etc but do not verify them. In those cases, we really look closely at the payment history on the credit report and the numbers involved.

More likely than not, the child support is legitimate. Since you said she just meets the income requirement without it, she really is ok, isn't she.
