ive always liked sherman williams or ben moore. Find company stores not hardware or big box. they are always changing formulas and names of paint (sw and bm) and the guys working in company stores actually know whats in the can and what surfaces and conditions are best for what.
sw often runs retail sales that are close to or better than contractor pricing and generally both can order the exact product you need for next day.
I've never been steered wrong by these co store guys and even when they recommend I buy the rideciously priced stuff,.....they've been right in their guidance.
SW oil base primer called ''fresh start'' is the best I've ever seen both for coverage and hide,.....and even the old school painters who still can match colors dead on with tinting colors,....are blown away by that product.

Thank you, Sir. You love your paint! Here's one tip I know because a painter told me. He is a SW guy. He showed me how to take a photo with my cell phone of my paint color/info label that is stuck on the can or 5-gallon pail. He recommended that I print it out and file it with the lease and logbook for the specific rental house.
