Should I Attend a trial by telephone or in person? - Landlord Forum thread 359930

Should I Attend a trial by telephone or in person? by Steve on November 9, 2019 @13:44

I got a lawsuit in east coast and will have a hearing next week. I live in Arizona.

I don't know if the voice will be clear by attending the hearing by telephone?

One of my tenants moved out suddenly and sued me back, saying the other tenant created an intolerable living situation. She said she requested me to address the issue but I refused.

All her claims are not true, and I have evident to support.
I don't know if I need to go there in person?

Did anyone attend trail hearing by telephone? how do you feel?

The cost to go there is about $300, plus two days of traveling. Her claim is about $1400.

Thanks.

If you go there and you win, you get awarded travel expenses??? Also an award is not getting the cash in hand.
