Good Question. What if tenant. had someone break in, and stole his or her’s belongings. If the Landlord has to pay for break in, isn’t this setting up landlord to have to pay for all damages pertaining to this situation?

No. The LL would only need to repair damages done to the physical structure, at the LLs expense. The personal possessions of the T would/should be covered by the Ts renters insurance, if they have any. If the T does not have renters insurance, they are just out-of-luck.
