Check with your local police dept. about things you can do to lessen the chance of a break in. I'm sure they would be happy to take a tour with you around your buildings, and give you ideas/recommendations to make your tenants safer.

We're just finishing a purchase and have interacted frequently with the 'Transaction Coordinator.' I've known about this title/description for a job at a brokerage for over ten years but haven't used her myself.
She makes sure that all the details get done. Ours is great.
It's about a $500 cost and worth it. With the rental details I hope your brokerage has a transaction coordinator.
