Why should you care what your T has said in the past? That's the PAST. The Question is, is your T current with her rent NOW? If you don't get along with your T, then start your state's eviction procedures as soon as rent is not paid. You have the legal right to do that. It's up to YOU if you want to work with your T in these crisis times. This is NEW TERRITORY for ALL LLs and Ts alike.

Get a load of this. I just got an email from Mass Landlords that there is a bill in Massachusetts that, if passed, would JAIL LANDLORDS just for telling their tenants to pay their rent during this time. in my city there is a moratorium on evictions for non payment. So I would not want to be one of the statistics across the country that they use to show the greedy LL. I am prepared to talk to Chase Bank to waive any penalties to the mortgage if I run into trouble.
