Rent Control Is Declared Unconstitutional - Landlord Forum thread 360360

Rent Control Is Declared Unconstitutional by Daniel (CA) on March 25, 2020 @15:40

Rent Control Is Declared Unconstitutional, by the local governments that suspend Evictions for non-payment of rent during the crisis. (they are admitting that these rule do not legally apply).

My point is , if there wasn't any "rent control" and landlords could run their properties without government regulations, then I could reason that a crisis could validate restrictions.

But once "rent Control" regulations have been enacted, then to unilaterally allow one side to violate their restrictions while not allowing equal application is admitting that the regulations are unequal in its inception.
