No. The person renting out to us is not the owner. It is in the state of Nevada Under nrS 118A.390
|

Sometimes the best exit from a bad situation is the door.
Wait it out to the end of the month if you choose, pack up and leave. Your roomie would have a real hard time getting any money from you after that.
PS, this is a Landlord forum, not a tenant one.

Robert, you are right. This is a LL forum. But sometimes a T finds their way to this site, and has Qs pertaining to LL/T situations. About 3/4 of the way down on the "Forum Rules" it says there is nothing wrong in helping out a T. I agree with that. Sometimes other LLs view those same T answers, and find that those answers have helped them out, too.
I do agree with your answer to this T. The easiest, most uncomplicated way out, is to just leave.
