Also, what happens if, god forbid, this thing gets extended? Then what? Small landlords like myself will simply not be able to afford this!

I have 24 tenants, one vacancy and three that have not paid. Two of them applied for the renters cares act. The one has been working this whole time. She is playing the system. However I did get a judgement but can’t do anything about it until January. I will be out thousands of dollars and will probably never see this money again. My only satisfaction is that I will be rid of her. Oh yeah, and KARMA

But...if the moratorium gets extended...then you may not even be rid of her. Right? What do you do then? You know?
Are you going to raise rents and/or hold off on renting any more units out to see if they extend it?

Her lease is up at the end of December. I believe in Pa. you are able evict if their lease is up even during moratorium. I did raise my rents. I will still rent to qualified tenants
