There is NO insurance for the tenant, that covers deliberate destruction of a rental property by a tenant. Even renters insurance would not cover deliberate damage, but it "may" cover accidental damage------say a stove caught fire and destroyed the kitchen---that would probably be covered IF the tenant had renters insurance. But broken windows, doors cabinets, holes in walls, ruined carpeting, etc, will not be covered.
Your business insurance will "maybe" cover those "accidents" only, and any acts of Mother Nature---storms, falling trees/branches, some water damage, fires, etc. BUT, your ins. will NOT cover any deliberate damage caused by the T. You're on your own to fix the damages, and take the T to court to try to get your money back. Otherwise, it becomes a tax deduction for you the following year.

Hi,
This is why tenant screen is so important. A credit check and only renting to good credit is crucial.
I would rather lose one months rent empty than get someone that doesnt pay.
people with good credit dont destroy things.
report them to a credit agency for the losses.
