Do I tip the Listing Broker? - Landlord Forum thread 361681

Do I tip the Listing Broker? by david on December 16, 2021 @12:30

I no longer personally advertise when an apartment has become available in this multifamily house. I go through my broker who lists the apartment on the MLS. Sometimes my broker also secures a qualified tenant, sometimes another broker ends up securing the tenant. But back to my listing broker. my point of contact is an assigned agent at the real estate company I normally use. Question, when I get a qualified tenant that signs, should I tip the listing agent? I never have, but I am wondering what other landlords do that go through a broker. And if so, how much... $100?
