As a Landlord, you should let them install a swimming pool only if they are willing to pay the additional insurance costs. If they don’t do that, you should keep a close eye on them and make sure they are installing it correctly. If not, then you should call in a professional swimming pool contractor and have it fixed. Adding a swimming pool can also increase their electricity and water cost, which you may be held responsible for if they are not careful. I’d also suggest that you have them add it to their existing Home Owner’s insurance policy. That way, you will have less worries and you can enjoy the pool too!
