A range oven was provided and is currently missing. So does depreciation -zero- out what I can charge?
Tenant was at the unit 12 years (2010 to 2022). moving out June 2022.
Tenant states that the original range stopped working and that she bought her own (instead of LL buying a new one). ( i was fully involved with maintaining and repairing the original range.
she had a maytag oven/range (provided by LL) but now has a Bertazzoni professional.
she is offering to sell it to me for $1,800 < was $5000> I offered $1,000 + i wont charge her a replacement fee for the missing range.

12 year tenancy is very long term if yours was a standard LL rental equipment stove, 12 years old it was long ago fully depreciated --- to 00.00 your tenant should have advised you and offered you the old broken stove, but IMHO no judge is going to give you nuttin for a 12 year old rental stove.
if you feel your ultimate negotiated offer for a Bertozonni stove is a good dollar amount,.....then buy the stove from your tenant. I wouldnt put that level of appliance in a rental unless it was a AAAA property and expected with the suite of sub zero, viking and wolfe, but you might like it in your personal kitchen.
