Almost everytime I have listed on CL I would get these, it was almost like this except the guy was a Doctor from Britain, he would ask the measurements for the rooms, etc. I sometimes get really bored and start emailing back and forth leading them on, I make up stories about the neighborhood and they still want the house and in the very end I will give the address of the house to them and the address is to the FBI building in D.C., in the ones I get it would ask for the address but your ask's for you to call.

I have received word for word inquires also. What do they really want? They never seem to get off the ground with these scams.

It's usually a check fraud scam. They send you a bogus check or money order for WAY too much money. Then then ask you to send back the difference from what they really owe. You send them a check and one or two weeks later you find out that their check bounced. They get your money and you get screwed.

Thanks. He now says he is sending me a check for 7000.00. I will just play his game and never send a check back.
