Thank you for all the replays!
I know it will be easier not to renew the contract but the owner of the place wouldn't like to be 6 moths out of rent, unfortunately in this economic situation the houses don't rent so fast.
The owner bought the house from a forclouse before she moved in and had a completely inspection it was built in 2005 so I guess the house will not have air leaks
Sorry I was in such a hurry to write and it was people couldn't understand!

So a house thats 7 years old does not have air leaks? Wishful thinking! It's best to have it checked out. If your A/C unit is running all the time because of air leaks and things, it will wear out faster.
