I have been a member of Angies for more than 10 years.

I have never had a review they failed to publish right away. I have never had them fail to contact me when I had an issue with the website. If I need a new contractor, I ask all my friends first, then other landlords I trust, then I go to angies. It has been a solid asset for me.

It did take them a long time to decide to let me access information from multiple states. They are not used to the idea of someone using contractors outside of a narrow geographical area.

Yeah, they make you pay a membership fee for each separate zone of theirs, and then they only send you one catalog for one zone. I gave up on them. Everybody gets A's in reviews even if there are many negative comments by multiple users. Glad they give you special treatment.
