LPA lease question - Landlord Forum thread 321562

LPA lease question by J (FL) on July 21, 2014 @10:53

The Florida LPA lease says "the last day of the lease shall be three (3) days prior to the end of the last month". And then at the top of the page it says the lease term ends on the 27th day of the year 20__.

Is this just a glitch or is there some reasoning behind it? I've always ended my leases on the last day of a calendar month.

Many management companies end their leases a few days before the last day of the last month. This gives them the opportunity to freshen up the unit before new occupants arrive for the start of the next month.

The LPA forms are set up for easy editing. You can change this in your MS Word doc.
