Tenant seems to be disturbing by Charlie (Ct) on September 14, 2014 @11:40

I keep a cordial relationship with my tenant,but after 12 years he has told me things have never been so good,but he has been digging at me with certain comments trying to annoy me with personal issues,almost like trying to set me up,he may have money issues seeing he said things have never been so good,any advice besides keeping my distance and keeping it business like.

It's hard to answer this because you didn't give us much info to go on. Can you give us an example or two of the comments he is making?

You nailed it. Avoid getting into non-business related conversations..and do not invite personal commends by giving any personal information to him. Just as an example..never tell him if you have friends or relatives visiting..then you open the door for him to ask about them. Basically..never utter any sentence that does not relate directly to his unit, his rent, his tenancy.
