computer software to manage property inventory - Landlord Forum thread 324928

computer software to manage property inventory by Cary4798 on September 25, 2014 @13:24

Does anyone use a program to manage their properties? Relative to maintenance, appliances, inspections, . It would be great if it could give me reminders to reinspect a property. I'm not concerned about the accounting side, just the day to day management of property and tenants. Thanks Cary

We only have 3 rentals, so need for this on this small scale. I could see it maybe with several rentals or apartment complexes. Small scale it's just not needed.

The best was Rentright 3.0. It is no longer available unless you have a windowXP system. It does everything you want and far more.

When I lost my last 'Microsoft system...I refused to ever buy another...instead I bought an iMac and had the host operating system setup under iOs. It has worked incredibly well and I keep my Rentright.

I do not know if you can find an old Rentright and the software keys to unlock it...but..there is a way to fool it into thinking you are on a permanent 30 day trial. I have a friend doing that. I have never found anyone or place that was selling the old 3.0.

The new Rentright isn't Rentright. They were bought out by their completion. The new owners discontinued it altogether and now only ofer their inferior product..but they call it Rentright........it isn't

I have no experience with this but it's something we are going to have to start doing soon.

I've heard some good things about Buildium. Others I've heard like PROMAS, and yet others have praised propertymanagercloud.

You might try going to softwareadvice.com/property/?layout=var_m and look over the choices.

Love to hear which one you select and how it works for you once you have it up and running.
