Unless you find out about a local guy you know you can trust, from people you know and trust, I'd go with a big store like Home Depot.
Personally, I don't trust Angie's List. They gave a property manager a rave review who ended up thoroughly ripping off my daughter.
At least a big operation like Home Depot normally stands behind their product and services, and won't normally nickle and dime you like a private contractor might.
