Restraining Orders On Landlords In California - Landlord Forum thread 362402

Restraining Orders On Landlords In California by david on June 24, 2023 @08:10

I own a 3 Bedroom home that I rent out 2 rooms. I live in the home as well. I am a 60 year old male. Can a renter (female)
falsely accuse me of assaulting her, get a restraining order, resulting in me having to leave the house?

That would be up to the judge. If it is false, then you can evict her.

generally, accusations of assault leading to a restraining order involve legal processes. It's crucial to seek advice from a legal professional in California to understand your rights and responsibilities as a landlord and tenant.
