Motorcycle Addendum

The Tenant has a Motorcycle?

Nervous about your tenant having a motorcycle at your rental property? This motorcycle addendum will define what the tenant is responsible for and offer you the landlord protection you need.

Some of the things you may be worried about are ...

  • The tenant's motorcycle being loud and disturbing neighbors
  • The tenant bringing the motorcycle in the house
  • A motorcycle gang hanging out at your rental property

Try to keep in mind that a tenant with a motorcycle is the same as tenant with car. I've evicted lots of tenants who drive cars. Come to think of it, I never had to evict a biker. So I look at it like this: Some tenants are good and adhere to the agreement and some don't.

The LPA Motorcycle Addendum will help set your mind at ease. Like anything else, a good foundation is key. A thorough screening with a good rental application should help you decide if you want to rent to the individual. Then a good landlord lease should cover the rest. Once signed, the Motorcycle Addendum would become part of these lease.

The form has an ample amount of writing area for you to more specifically customize it to your exact needs for the tenant.
