It's not a crime to not pay back a loan or debt either. That means a judgement is worthless if it is uncollectable. Keep in mind that creditors have to abide by certain laws when it comes to collecting, so don't get yourself into trouble. BUT, don't let this tenant get away with it if you can help it. Stay on top of where he works, lives, etc. It may take years, but eventually this guy might clean up his act - have money saved, own or inherit property, etc. The judgement should be good for 10 years and renewable for another 10. Why not put this joker on the deadbeat database so the rest of us can watch out for him? Good luck. Jack
