Keep in mind that some of these dogs are not restricted because of agressive tendencies, but because of size. You need to take the temperment of the dog into account, along with the space requirements each would need. One of my tenants has a german shephard right now. He's the most loving dog I've ever met. I walk into the yard unannounced and he just rolls over for me to pet his tummy! But I was bitten once (on the ankle) by a dachshund. I don't see that dog on the list anywhere! (Funny thing is that there were 2 rots in the same yard at the time who ignored me.)

bulldogs are not known biters, I have owned them for the past 20 years and not one problem. they are bred for tempermant which means non aggressive. yes they look mean but will kill you with licks and snorts.

You are an possibly uninformed for thinking some of these breeds are aggressive. A great dane's known nickname is infact a "Gentle Giant" there is even a rescue organization named after that specifically. If you are just basing this off of their image then that is completely and thoroughly incorrect. I am a owner of a great dane and grew up with one as well and I also have 2 children under the age of 3 and they can do anything to her and she will not move a muscle.
Golden Retreivers as well are known to be one of the best family dogs out there. They are pretty much the poster child for family dogs. You cannot base a personal experience on a dog, even pit bulls are friendly and lovable. Granted they are in the terrier family so there patience is smaller but does not make them an aggressive breed, they only have a bad reputation because they had terrible owners and/or neglected in their up bringing.
All I say is do your research on each individual breed before you go and give them the official name "AGGRESSIVE BREED."

Are English Bull Dogs considered aggressive breeds? You said bull dogs are, but I have never met a mean English bull dog before. and they are so cute I am thinking of getting one, I live in Cali.

I would like to talk about a very simple in content and megapositive spotted zublefare, also called a leopard gecko https://whatarereptiles.com/leopard-gecko/. Zublefare is the only kind of gecko that can smile. She has been living with me for two years, she is only a little over three years old. She is decent with me, does not cause any problems with taking care of herself from the word at all. It does not require large living space, it is quite happy with the 40 * 40 cube terrarium. In general, who wants to settle such a miracle at home - do not hesitate, it's worth it. Even a beginner will cope with maintenance and care, and you will get a lot of positive from communicating with such a handsome man.
