He won't pay you, because why would he? He is moving out anyway. Eventually.

AND he will need the money for his moving costs.

Post notice TODAY. Today. Seriously. Do it. Make him aware of what will happen to his credit if he doesn't pay up. chances are he has already screwed up his credit, and doesn't care, but let him know anyway.
