check with her previous LL. Current LL could be trying to get rid of her. check with her neighbors. Google the address she lives at and the road. Problem places are often in the media. Do a criminal check.

When I rented in a complex, a woman down the hall from me was rumored to work for a 900 call-in number. I did witness that she had a diversity of men visit her (not an unacceptable amount). Many avoided eye contact and/or averted their faces by suddenly looking another way. She was often in the laundry room washing just one or two pieces of lingerie.

So I personally thought she was a prostitute. But she was not a problem neighbor.

At least having a prostitute in your own building is convienient.
