With that logic, I should feel free to ask any business that I'm working with to just give me discounts and freebies. When they don't agree, I'll just tell them that they lack customer service skills and are providing bad customer service.

That doesn't make any sense. I know that when I sign-up for something, I don't feel entitled to get more than what I've agreed to.

I ask for freebies all the time with the businesses I work with businesses. If you do not ask, you do not receive. I have not paid retail prices on any applicance I bought since I became a LL. With 24 units now, I buy a lot of appliances. Menards has a pro-desk discount. Home Depot has a paint rewards program with Behr, Lowes gives me 20% discounts all the time.
