How do you not understand this? YOU do not own this place. YOU do not dictate the length of your tenancy to your landlord. When YOU own a home and rent it out, you can do that. This is not your place to tell a rightful owner of her property what she can and can't do with it because you don't want to be inconvenienced. How can you not see this????

You're a moral person? Abide by the law. The law says you have to be out without the landlords permission to stay there. As was states earlier, if this is such a huge inconvenience, why did you not rent a place that gave you a lease that was agreeable to you? One that let you stay through your school term? That's just piss poor planning on your part to sign a month to month lease and not have a back up plan. Well... You DO have a backup plan and it's to screw your landlord. Brilliant.
