Evictions go on your background check which stays with you for the length of your life. Any lawsuit does. Anyone who is renting out anything decent or giving you any kind of money or financing is going to check your credit report and possibly your background information. Employers check BOTH...even a fast food joint. So when an employer checks and sees that you have been recently sued, lost the case and then had the police involved to remove you, they sure will think twice about hiring you over someone else who doesn't have that recent history.
