Agreed. I'm sick of people thinking Facebook is appropriate for any kind of official or legal communication.

I'm 32; I work in technology. I had Facebook for a while, but deleted it 2 years ago due to its stupidity.

I would NEVER friend a landlord on Facebook to begin with, and certainly would never use ANY kind of electronic communication as anything 'official'.

That would have been better written as 'I would NEVER friend a landlord that I'm renting from on Facebook'. Nothing against landlords as a whole. :)

And as a LL I would block you as a Tenant on FB. For no other reason than it is just not 'Professional'.

I agree. You absolutely should not accept friend requests from your tenants. There is absolutely no benefit to having an online 'friendship' with your tenants.
