I cannot believe people on here are so judgemental and mean. Like nobody else has been in this situation before. We don't know what his circumstances really are. Just don't answer if you don't like the question. Inmy state as soon as the landlord starts the eviction you are no longer responsible for the rent. Look up your state laws and know what you can use as a bargaining tool. Juan must have completed court already so this is for the other people who are looking this up later.

Jaylee, people are not being mean here. Juan just exhausted everyone's patience. Either he is a very mentally retarded or he is just playing with everyone. I can guarantee you that if he behaves that way with the LL, he's already delaying the process. He deserves to have his ass kicked out of the house and then sued for wasting the LL and this Forums time.

I agree jaylee. The replies on this thread are absolutely disgusting. Juan had a legitimate issue and was looking for advice, not abuse.
