New Landlord Addendum?? - Landlord Forum thread 321629

New Landlord Addendum?? by Stephanie on July 22, 2014 @10:27

Hi - I recently purchased an investment property that has been occupied. Should I amend the in-force lease to list myself as the landlord?

I think so, but was not sure if this is needed.

Thank you,

Is your tenant month to month? Do you want to keep this tenant?

Yes. It's a routine form to update the lease to show the new owner, manager, and where the rent is to be paid.

Notice of Sale
Notifies the tenant of a transfer of property ownership. The form instructs that the terms of the lease agreement are still in full force. It also provides the tenant with new contact information concerning the new landlord.
