I would NEVER have legal documents translated.

I am on my high horse here ... I am in America and we conduct business in English. If someone is transacting business in America (not talking about CA but the rest of the country) it gets done in the English language.

That said,I am from an immigrant family and we take care of our own. Just helped a family member last month with getting a lease at a complex and we would have NEVER considered asking the complex for a translation ... that was why I was helping.
