If your tenant has something to gain from the sale, he may be more inclined to help the sale rather than hinder it. It’s a lot to ask of a tenant to keep the place show ready without some form of compensation. Maybe offer the tenant a rent discount or some money towards moving.

Remember, keeping the place show ready and having strangers entering the place as various hours and days is a lot of trouble for the tenant. So, do you want your tenant working for or against you?
