I found out you can list your rental on the MLS through an agent and only pay a few hundred dollars. It's the same folks who let you list your home for sale on MLS by yourself.

For ONLY a few HUNDRED dollars! My, my, isn't that inexpensive? And you get a limited time and you have to sign a contract and the agents don't like to do it because they make a lot more money doing it themselves and screwing you if possible.

Tact is not your strong suit. I'm a broker but not paying the MLS dues. But I think if I were current I would list a rental house for a client. It costs you no extra money if dues are paid up. It could work out fine for an owner or bad if the agent were dishonest. A few hundred dollars is way too much though.
