You cannot "tell" Sec 8 anything. They must get a copy of EVERYTHING from you that you give the T. They even time/date stamp everything that you give them. And unless they received the 30 day notice from you YESTERDAY, about the non-renewal, you will be getting March and April's rent from them also. Your 30 day notice probably doesn't begin until the following date the rent is due again, which will be April 1. And once you get a check, you cannot return it because they won't accept it back. Also, if you don't cash it, it's YOUR loss, nobody elses, so cash the checks until they stop coming.
